Dr. David Goldenberg Touched by Patient Letter of Gratitude

Retinal Consultants of Arizona physician, Dr. David Goldenberg, received a heartfelt note from a patient’s wife expressing her gratitude for the genuine care received by Dr. Goldenberg toward the end of her husband’s life.

We wanted to share this with you:

Dear Dr. Goldenberg,

I wanted to let you know that John passed away. He saw you on September 29 and, as you know, he wasn’t able to make the follow-up appointment for an injection in the other eye.

I thank you for your care over the last several years. When he was diagnosed, we recalled the experience with his mother at a time when there was nothing to be done. John was able to drive, read, watch TV and had much better quality of life.
